Anya is so detached from what’s going on around her that it almost seems like she has no personality at all and that she just goes with whatever is happening or whatever she is told to do. This is because Anya hasn't really been living her own life since before she witnessed Marianne’s murder and became her host. With Marianne in her mind, Anya’s personality never seemed to develop. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have one at all but it does account for the fact she isn’t verbose and seems rather uninterested in what’s going on around her. Also because of that, she has a general disregard for her life and for others. She doesn’t hesitate to kill an enemy, even if they cannot fight back.

Every day activities are seen as boring or dull, and because she is so detached she lacks common sense, even going as far as to use Mordred to try and get Lelouch’s hat because Milly wanted it. Even though she lacks common sense, Anya is still intelligent and an extremely skilled pilot, which gives her the title of the youngest Knight of the Round. She’ll often go around taking pictures to preserve the memory of what she has done that day. She’s very observant of her surroundings even if she doesn’t act like it. It’s all to preserve her memories, which she doesn’t trust. Because her physical memories and the things she has recorded in her phone don’t match up, Anya distrusts her memories and tends to rely on what she has recorded instead.

Anya walked around the school grounds, it was different than Ashford Academy, not that she had been there long. This school wanted them to fight but not with Knightmare frames and that in itself was different, but maybe it was because the war was over. Either way it didn't phase Anya. Instead, she went around the grounds taking pictures of the people and places.

"Recorded"

Another picture snapped of two girls blushing at each other. She saved it to the folder containing only students here, but not without some difficulties. She couldn't seem to remember what all the buttons were used for and she couldn't store the memory of how to use her phone in her phone. Every day she would mess with all the buttons so she remembered what they all did.

Her phone held the memory of what happened in Area 11 with Britannia, and that Gino and Suzaku were there with her, but Suzaku didn't remember all of it. She knew memories were a fickle thing, but the battle seemed like something one would remember. Gino remembered more than she did, more than her recorded memories had.

Some files were missing and she was told she had to fight to get them back.

"Okay."

If it was all about doing what they were told, she could do that.
